The manufacturer, M & P Food Production Ltd, has announced a recall of 11,000 lbs of chicken, veal, pork dumpling, and beef products. The products were manufactured between March 18 and September 19, 2011 and were distributed to Florida, North Carolina, New York, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

Products subject to recall include:

  • 16 oz. pouches of “Babushka Brand Beef and Pork Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Babushka Brand Veal Dumplings”
  • 16 oz. pouches of “Babushka Brand Chicken Dumplings”

The meat products are stamped with EST 18832 and the chicken products are stamped with P-18832. No allergic reactions have currently been reported.

As a Los Angeles personal injury lawyer, I have seen food recalls like this one and know that, with as much testing goes into food products before manufacturers send them to market, mistakes can still be made. Although our product liability lawyer at our law firm does not handle these type of cases there are food recall lawyers out there that can help your or a loved one if you have been affected by a recall such as this one.
