Bikers Safety Campaign Faces Low Interest among Young Adults

Posted on November 14, 2011

According to recent news sources, two young men were allegedly caught speeding tremendously down a road while driving their motorcycles.

Despite all campaigns that show bikers safety on the road does really play an important role in the overall safety of drivers, riders and pedestrians alike. According to the news source, both men were under 21 years old. They have been charged and will go to a court, authorities say.

Although this is just a local piece of news to some, it reflects a sad reality. Young adults have a hard time truly following the rules or even paying attention to the reality behind their alleged false-superhero complex. Driving must be first and foremost a safe activity, not a source of fun.

As a Los Angeles personal injury lawyer I urge all drivers to be aware that road safety should be everybody’s number one priority. Speeding may seem like a good idea at first, but it also may represent a grave risk to you and others sharing the road with you.

There are moments when having fun is important, the road wasn’t designed to be the place for that. Young or old, drivers and riders alike should never forget they can jeopardize the lives of others by being reckless.

Contact a personal injury lawyer anytime you feel you have been involved in an accident that was not caused by you.
