The company announced the recall of about 10,000 units of the Halloween projection flashlight in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The recalled product is colored in both orange and black, with figures such as pumpkins, bats and cats printed on the handle. The flashlights have a UPC number 677916518266.
The recalled flashlights have been sold for a retail price of about $1 from August 2010 through October 2011.
There has been one report of the product overheating and melting.
