Recall: Krasdale Crispy Honey Oats and Flakes Due To Undeclared Almonds

According to news sources, a recall has been issued for Krasdale Crispy Oats and Flakes after it was found that the product contained almonds, which were no present on the packaging label and can cause severe or fatal allergic reactions to those with a particular sensitivity towards almonds.

The recalled product is made by Krasdale Foods Inc. of White Plains, NY and is sold at C-Town Supermarkets, Bravo Supermarkets as well as independent retailers. The recalled product has a use by date of September 20, 2012.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the product to date.
