Recall: Toys Distribution Inc. Baby Rattles Due To Choking Risks

Posted on December 13, 2011

According to news sources, about 50 units of the Baby Rattles children toy have been recalled after it was found that the toy parts can break into small pieces, therefore posing a potential choking hazard to children.

The company, Toys Distribution Inc., has announced the recall in cooperation with The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission after it was found that the toy pieces can break into small pieces that can cause children to choke on them if swallowed. The recalled toy sets have either Item No. 58083801 or Item No. 308363 printed on the package.

There have been no injuries reported to date. The recalled products were sold from Dec 2009 to Dec 2010 for a retail price of about $2.

Consumers with the recalled product should take them away from children immediately and return them to the point of purchase for a full refund.
