According to news sources, a recall has been announced for Rip Roarin’ Crab Soup after it was found that the product may contain undeclared wheat, milk and crab allergens due to an improper product label.

The company. Blount Fine Foods, is recalling its 16 oz. Rip Roarin’ Crab Soup after undeclared milk, crab and wheat allergens were discovered. The recalled product has a lot #1202117D, product code #71116 and Best By date of 02/10/12. The improper product label identifies the recalled product as Manhattan Clam Chowder, without mentioning the undeclared allergens it contains. There have been no illnesses reported to date.
