The company, Martinelli and Company, announced the recall in cooperation with The Food and Drug Administration due to the recalled bottles having defective seals that can break when opening. The recall affects the 24-ml shrink-wrapped bundles of the bottles with Best By dates 11 APR 2014, 12 APR 2014, 13 APR 2014, or 14 APR 2014. The recalled sparkling cider bottles include those with UPC codes 4124499932, 41244462526, and 4124400256.
