According to news sources, a recall has been issued for certain bottles of Excedrin, Gas-X Prevention, Bufferin and NoDoz after it was found that the products may contain stray pills or chipped and broken tablets.

The company, Novartis Consumer Health, announced the recall of Exdedrin and NoDoz products with an expiration date 12/20/14. The recalled products also includes Bufferin and Gas-X Prevention, with an expiration date 12/20/13 or reportedly earlier. The recalled products contain stray pills, as well as chipped or broken tablets. This can result in a potential allergic reaction, overdose or other adverse effects.
