Shamrock Foods Recalls About 7,500 Pounds of Beef and Chicken

According to news sources, a recall has been issued for about 7,500 pounds of marinated ground beef, ground chicken by Shamrock Foods after it was found that the product contained known allergens that were not identified due to improper labeling.

The recall was announced after it was found that the product contained known allergens not identified on the packaging due to improper labeling. The allergens in the beef product include soybeans, sulfites and wheat. The allergens in the ground chicken product include wheat, sulfites and milk. The recalled chicken and beef products have identification numbers 2844671 and 3096311 respectively.

This is a “Class I” recall, meaning that the product can probably cause serious health consequences.

There have been no reported illnesses to date.
