Ms. Contreras was honored with this distinction at the 25th Annual Awards and Scholarship Dinner in Los Angeles, California and received her award alongside fellow honorees California Supreme Court Justice Patricia Guerrero, and Helen Torres, CEO of Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE).
