Alec Clark

Alec Clark is an attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP who focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits. He and his trial team represent individuals that have been severely injured or lost loved ones due to motorcycle and auto collisions, firearm incidents, construction site accidents, defective products, and dangerous property conditions. Always thinking about the “bigger picture,” Mr. Clark strives to hold defendants accountable for their negligence in ways that make the world safer.

In Martinez v. Harman Fitness LLC, after 7 days of trial, Mr. Clark and firm partner Spencer Lucas reached a $5,000,000 settlement on behalf of a mother whose 22 year old son passed away from a cardiac event while exercising in a commercial fitness facility. The gym failed to call 911 until 45 minutes after the medical emergency began, and the gym never administered CPR nor used an automated external defibrillator (AED) to shock his heart back into rhythm. This was a zero offer case until the eve of trial. As part of the settlement agreement, Mr. Clark and Mr. Lucas negotiated terms that ensured all staff members in the dozens of fitness facilities owned by the defendant would be fully CPR and AED certified.

In Benardout v. Gralitzer, Mr. Clark, Spencer Lucas, and Marguerite Sanvictores obtained a $200,000,000 judgment, signed by an LA Superior Court Judge, for the family of 24 year-old Noah Bernardout who was killed by a drunk driver while standing on a sidewalk in West Hollywood.

Since August of 2021, Mr. Clark and his trial team have resolved more than 25 seven-figure cases and 5 eight-figure cases.

Mr. Clark received his law degree from the University of San Diego where he was awarded the School of Law Honor Scholarship and was a member of the mock trial team. Mr. Clark began his career at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP as a law clerk and also spent a semester of law school at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. Mr. Clark earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Licensed to practice in both California and Nevada, he is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the American Association for Justice. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his fiancé and dog, playing tennis and basketball, and traveling.
