Arya Afighom
Arya Afighom is an attorney with Panish | Shea | Boyle | Ravipudi LLP who focuses his practice on mass tort litigation. He currently represents hundreds of victims in Southern California affected by the 2017 Thomas Fire in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, the subsequent debris flows in Montecito, and the 2018 Woolsey Fire in Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
Mr. Afighom received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School where he was an Associate Editor of the Southwestern Law Review. He was also a recipient of the Dean’s List for academic excellence. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Deirdre H. Hill of the Los Angeles Superior Court and as an extern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office Tax Division for the Central District of California. Prior to attending law school, he received his B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
A Los Angeles native, Mr. Afighom is a member of the State Bar of California, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the Consumer Attorneys of California. Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
