At 8:41 a.m. on Monday, June 27th, 2022, a big rig collided with an LADOT bus on E. Imperial Highway between Douglas Street and Aviation Boulevard. The impact caused the bus to flip onto its side, leaving at least 20 injured. Three people are in critical condition, one of whom was the driver of the big rig truck. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center for treatment.

The El Segundo Police Department is currently investigating the crash and it has yet to be determined what exactly caused the crash.
