Marguerite S. Sanvictores
Marguerite S. Sanvictores is a trial lawyer at Panish Shea Boyle Ravipudi specializing in complex catastrophic personal injury, products liability, wrongful death, and sexual abuse cases. A member of the firm since 2017, she has experience in cases involving traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations and has handled a number of high-profile cases since joining the firm.
Marguerite is dedicated to fighting for victims and their families who have been serious injured or killed by negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct of individuals, governmental entities, or profit-driven companies. Working with her team, she has successfully recovered over $200 million for her clients and is dedicated to bringing about policy changes in large corporations to ensure the future safety of the community.
Recognized by the Super Lawyers publication as a Southern California Rising Star since 2019, Marguerite was also recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in 2022.
Most recently, Marguerite and Partner Spencer Lucas obtained a $200 million judgment in Benardout, et al. vs. Gralitzer, for the parents of Noah Benardout who was tragically killed by a drunk driver. She has worked with Partner Spencer Lucas to recover numerous 8-figure settlements, including the following:
- $29,000,000.00 settlement in Johnson vs. Pharmaceutical Company involving a 72-year-old woman and her three adult grandchildren who were struck in a head-on collision and suffered severe orthopedic injuries and traumatic brain injuries.
- $26,700,000.00 settlement in Doe vs. Entertainment Company involving the death of a 23-year-old man in an auto vs. pedestrian collision.
- $22,800,000.00 settlement in Doe vs. Doe involving a 58-yearold man who suffered an amputation to an extremity in an auto collision.
- $20,005,070.94 settlement in Pineda vs. Transport Company involving a 32-year-old man who was struck by a tractor trailer wheel and suffered severe orthopedic injuries.
Prior to joining Panish | Shea | Boyle | Ravipudi LLP, Marguerite was a senior associate with Masry & Vititoe, LLP where she co-wrote an appellate brief that became a first impression published opinion in the California Courts of Appeal, Second District.
She is a member of the California State Bar and received her law degree from Southwestern Law School. While attending Southwestern, she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, Harvey L. and Lillian Silbert Public Interest Fellowship Scholarship, and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Marguerite was also elected to the Moot Court Board of Governors where she received numerous awards, including Quarterfinalist in the National Asylum & Refugee Moot Court Competition, Second Place finalist in the New York City Bar Nationals Moot Court Competition and was awarded the Moot Court Board of Governors Scholarship. She also worked for the Legal Aid Society of Orange County where she worked at the Compton courthouse and assisted low income individuals with various legal matters.
An active member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Marguerite is also an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and the American Association of Justice, and National Trial Lawyers Association
